The ashtray has been found!

So, I'm not so upset about having my car broken into. I mean, it still sucks because they took money and an mp3 player, but I have found back my ashtray so it's all good.
I figure whoever took the money and mp3 must need it more than I do, I can just work another hour and get back whatever they took from my car in money, and I can always go buy another mp3 player...it's not gonna totally break the bank. I was just upset that they took my ashtray, because really, whats the point, what will they do with that? I had searched the ditches this morning on the 4-wheeler but did not find it. But then this evening I searched in the bushes on my neighbours property and I found it! Life is good!!

Robbed.....

It seems I was robbed last night. I got into my car today and my ashtray (in which I keep all my loose change) was gone, as was the mp3 player that I had left in my car. Odd thing was that it didn't look like they even touched my book of CD's which has over 100 cd's in it. But the part that REALLY bugs me is that they actually took my ashtray.....they could have just emptied the money out of it and left the ashtray, but instead they took the whole thing so now I have a empty space in my dash where the ashtray is supposed to be. It's funny because lately I've been really trying to love people and try see them how God sees them, and not judge people based on their looks and/or lifestlyle......but I gotta be honest...I don't feel much love for whoever did this...and if I found out who did it, I don't think I would feel like being too friendly to them....quite the opposite actually.....

I've decided a new blog is in order. I didn't plan ahead when I made my address from my last blog. So since I am not in Erin anymore, I will be posting from this blog instead.

Summer is getting old. I am looking forward to returning to Calgary...although as of right now, I still don't have a place to live. Don't have any info from my school (don't even know for sure if I passed my internship or not)...and I still don't quite have the money I need (was hoping to have) to make it through the year..though I always have my trusty Line of Credit! It's always there for me like a good friend.

Tonite I went hunting for coyotes....didn't get one though....Last night was the 2nd of 4 Sr High youth events that I have planned for the summer with Jesse. It went really well! It's amazing how in such a short time you already start building great relationships with the teens. There is a GREAT group of students here in Chatham! We had around 20 Sr Highs out last night! Played some games, rocked out with some rock n roll worship with Jesse... (paul Rowlands came and played drums which was AWESOME!!) Then we talked about Jesus....(always a good thing to talk about I think)...then just hung with the students ...... some of which were there til 1130 or so....Great kids, with tons of potential for the Fall.

Anyways, For all you from Erin I will be back once more this summer (whether you like it or not) I am coming the weekend of Aug 18-22.....I'll be at youth that Friday and preaching that Sunday. Hope to see you all sometime through the weekend!
